Yo, Gay Cake Ragers: Judge Rules Against You Bullying Christian Bakers – Shall We Call A Wambulence?

Just wait until you hear WHERE this case resolved! The leftists are going to freak out!

The LGBTTTQRSTUV+ lobby has decided that they are going to target Christians.

Specifically Christian bakers.

Not Muslim or Orthodox Jewish or Hindu bakers — no, no. It’s specifically Christian bakers. Because there are some Christian bakers that are ‘haters’ that don’t want to design elaborate wedding cakes for a gay wedding ceremony. It has nothing to do with the Christians religious beliefs — to the LGBTTTQQXYZ+ crowd it’s bigotry and the state must force these bigoted pastry chefs to pour hours of their time and use their talent to produce their artistic wares as the centerpiece for a ceremony that they do not wish to condone. These bakers believe that to do so would violate the principles of their faith.

And if they don’t do it, that’s discrimination and the gay couple is gonna sue.

That’s exactly what lesbian couple Eileen and Mireya Rodriquez-Del Rio did. They sued Cathy Miller of Tastries Bakery in Bakersfield, California for refusing to create a wedding cake for them.

Should Christian Bakers Be FORCED To Make 'GAY CAKES' – Here's…

When Miller refused to make the wedding cake on religious grounds, they brought their complaint to California’s Department of Fair Employment and Housing and cried discrimination.

Of course, the state had ruled against Miller and attempted to force her to make the cake saying that the couple didn’t ask for any words or messages on the cake. But Miller fought back.

Cathy Miller, the owner of Tastries Bakery in Bakersfield, made headlines last year when she turned away a Lesbian couple who wanted her to make their wedding cake.

Miller’s lawyers had argued that making the cakes violated her Christian beliefs and free religious expression.

Superior Court Judge David Lampe ruled in favor of the baker on Monday, saying the act of making cakes was ‘artistic expression’ and did not violate California anti-discrimination laws.

The judge wrote:

A wedding cake is not just a cake in a free speech analysis,’ the judge wrote in his eight-page ruling.

It is an artistic expression by the person making it that is to be used traditionally as a centerpiece in the celebration of a marriage. There could not be a greater form of expressive conduct.

What does this mean for the Masterpiece Cakeshop case that is now before the Supreme Court?

Who knows.

But it does set precedent.

Especially with this little tidbit:

But Judge Lampe rejected the ruling and said his decision was based on the fact that Miller had not yet prepared the cake.

He said it would have been discrimination if the cake was already on display at the shop and Miller refused to let the couple buy it.

‘A retail tire shop may not refuse to sell a tire because the owner does not want to sell tires to same sex couples,’ Judge Lampe wrote.

‘No baker may place their wares in a public display case, open their shop, and then refuse to sell because of race, religion, gender, or gender identification.’

This is vital because Jack Phillips of Masterpiece Cakeshop has said that he would have sold Charlie Craig and David Mullins anything that he had on display in his bakery, but would not create a cake for their same-sex wedding.

Phillips writes:

What I didn’t say was that I wouldn’t sell them a cake.

I’m happy to sell a cake to anyone, whatever his or her sexual identity. People should be free to make their own moral choices. I don’t have to agree with them.

But I am responsible for my own choices. And it was that responsibility that led me to decline when two gentlemen came into my shop and invited me to create a wedding cake for their same-sex ceremony.

It looks as though Christian bakers just received a very big win — and a surprising one at that considering the decision was from California.

Ok, Supreme Court — you’re up next.
