Yo, CNN: Guess Which Terrorists The DNC Deputy Chair Keith Ellison Had Dinner With?

What’s with Democrat leaders keeping meetings with controversial leaders like this secret?

It was recently revealed that the Congressional Black Caucus had hidden a photo of Barack Obama with Louis Farrakhan for 18 years.

Of course, Nutty Nancy Pelosi made sure that her meeting with Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad was a great photo-op:

A new report by Fast Forward reveals that in 2013 DNC Deputy Chair Keith Ellison and a handful of other Democrat lawmakers had a private dinner with Iranian president Hassan Rouhani and outspoken racist and Nation of Islam leader (but I repeat myself) Louis Farrakhan.

At the time, Ellison wasn’t yet in his prominent DNC position — but was a sitting member of Congress, as were Andre Carson of Indiana and Gregory Meeks of New York, who also attended. Ellison, who had converted to Islam when he was in college, was also the first Muslim elected to Congress.

Perhaps it’s because Ellison is Muslim that the fraternization with anti-Semites is being kept hush-hush.

Louis Farrakhan, the Nation of Islam leader who has long been accused of anti-Semitism and whom Ellison had previously denounced, was also in attendance.

Ellison, the first Muslim elected to Congress, did not hold his DNC position at the time but was a sitting member of Congress, as were Democratic Reps. Andre Carson of Indiana and Gregory Meeks of New York, who also attended.

Ellison’s first congressional campaign in 2006 was nearly derailed when it was revealed that he had once written newspaper op-eds praising Farrakhan and worked for him for 18 months leading up to the minister’s 1995 Million Man March. He subsequently wrote a letter to the local Jewish community claiming, “I reject and condemn the anti-Semitic statements and actions of the Nation of Islam [and] Louis Farrakhan.”

When the accusations reemerged during Ellison’s campaign for DNC leadership in 2016, he released another statement condemning Farrakhan’s “hatred and division, including, anti-Semitism, homophobia and a chauvinistic model of manhood. I disavowed them long ago, condemned their views, and apologized.”

Connection to Farrakhan had nearly scuttled Ellison’s political ambition until Ellison stated publicly in 2006, ‘I reject and condemn the anti-Semitic statements and actions of the Nation of Islam [and] Louis Farrakhan.’

And yet, there Ellison was having a private dinner with him in 2013.

Also in attendance was the newly-elected president of Iran.

Sounds like a lovely little shindig filled with anti-Semites, don’t you think?

What happened, Hitler couldn’t make it? Oh, right. Thankfully he’s dead.

Rouhani was the newly-elected president of Iran in 2013 when he held the dinner in New York. While Rouhani has attempted to strike a moderate tone to Western audiences, the country’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has continued to call for the destruction of Israel. Iran’s government, which supports terror groups like Hamas and Hezbollah, is considered by the U.S. State Department to be the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism.

The dinner, arranged by Iranian diplomats to coincide with Rouhani’s visit to New York to speak at the United Nations, was publicized on Nation of Islam websites at the time but went unnoticed until it was unearthed in a Wall Street Journal op-ed on Thursday. Ellison’s office did not respond to op-ed writer Jeryl Bier’s request for comment.

Kinda makes the sheltering of Hezbollah by the Obama administration rather interesting, doesn’t it?

And then there’s this little tidbit of info that the Media (D) has seemingly ignored:

The U.S. government has traced some of the $1.7 billion released to Iran by the Obama administration to Iranian-backed terrorists in the two years since the cash was transferred.

According to knowledgeable sources, Iran has used the funds to pay its main proxy, the Lebanon-based terrorist group Hezbollah, along with the Quds Force, Iran’s main foreign intelligence and covert action arm and element of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps.

The U.S. money supplied to Iran as part of an arms settlement dating back to the 1970s also has been traced to Iran’s backing of Houthi rebels seeking to take power in Yemen. Iran has been supporting the Yemen rebels as part of a bid to encircle and eventually take control of Saudi Arabia.

The intelligence tracing the American funds to Iranian-backed terrorists is likely to further fuel President Trump’s effort to undo the Iran nuclear deal, the Obama administration’s main foreign policy initiative codified in the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, as the Iran nuclear deal is called.

Thank God the grown-ups are in charge again, amirite?

Does your grandpa go off on paltry politicians, whether they be Democrats or Republicans? Does he get misty eyed when he talks about God and Country and America’s future? And have you ever heard him scream, ‘Awww … Hell no!’ when Rosie O’Donnell starts yapping on television? If you answered yes to one, or all of the above, then your gramps will love Doug Giles’ latest book, My Grandpa Is A Patriotic Badass.

Don’t be fooled by the title — this ain’t just for Grandpa.
The Snowflake Generation — and the rest of America — needs a good ol’ dose of ‘Grandpa wisdom’.
Especially if that Grandpa is Doug Giles.
You’ll love My Grandpa Is A Patriotic Badass just as much as Grandpa will.
