What makes ANYONE think that laying down on the street is a good idea?
It was a protest — you guessed it — about Healthcare.
They were laying down on the street. They called it a ‘die-in’. They were holding cardboard tombstones.
Did we mention they were laying down on the street? Is blocking the street legal now?
Right. It’s San Francisco. Maybe it is, there.
Many of the protesters were elderly or using wheelchairs since it was organised by Bay Resistance and Senior and Disability Action.
A spokeswoman for Bay Resistance, Emily Lee, said the driver was ‘definitely targeting us’, according to CBS.
She added: ‘Everyone thought he was just confused, but he didn’t stop, and at some point it became clear he was going to come through the crowd and people jumped out of the way.’
Lee added that the man then turned around and began driving back into the activists before a police officer drew his gun and ordered him to stop. –read more
They had been lying in the street for 7 minutes before he drove through.
If you watch the video, it’s not as though he was looking to mow anyone down. He weaved between them.
But the revved engine sure got them to stop ‘playing dead’ in a hurry.
It doesn’t say whether he was waiting for those seven minutes.
Who was the guy on the bike?
Someone with no time or patience for the so-called Social Justice Warriors.
Who got escorted away by the police, even though nobody got hurt?
It wasn’t the melodramatic dopes playing in traffic.
