Remember how we were told it’s a Christian’s duty to NOT vote for Trump as President because he would sully the office?
Would Hillary have stepped up, not just for Christian political values like the Mexico City Policy, or religious freedoms, but specifically praising the life’s work of Christian leader Billy Graham?
The Left already has their knives out for Rev Graham, denouncing him with all sorts of vile slurs. Including claims that he’s ‘racist’.
That may have come as a surprise to his friend and fellow-preacher Rev. Dr. MLK Jr., with whom he is now reunited in the presence of their Lord.
For all the heat Trump takes on the topic, it is one he has never once backed down from.
And with the passing of a life that left so profound a mark as Rev Billy Graham’s has, it was fitting that our President say a few words about him.
“Everywhere he went Rev. Graham delivered the same beautiful message: God loves you,” President Donald Trump told congressmen at a memorial service inside the Capitol Rotunda Wednesday.
…”My father said to me, come on son,” continued Trump. “Let’s go see Billy Graham at Yankee stadium, and it was something very special.”
That’s a long way from how the previous President spoke of the Christianity he supposedly believes in, suing Nuns to compell them to pay for birth control, and criticizing Christianity’s shortcomings (real or imagined) — up to and including the Crusades — AT A PRAYER BREAKFAST while lauding Islam.
