The nightmare for the German girl who joined ISIS is now over.
Or is it?
Linda was a jihadi bride at fifteen. A white girl from Germany.
Now that her side has been crushed, and she’s been found by the Iraqis who liberated her, what should they do with her?
(Can’t help but think of this scene as I watch this clip. #SorryNotSorry)
Here she is as they found her:
She doesn’t seem quite so proud and defiant as she’s being led prisoner by the very men she was setting out to kill.
The ‘poor dear’. Look how she cries.
What should be done with her? She deliberately left Germany at 15 to join with this band of murderers.
She would have known — seen first hand, likely — the treatment of prisoners and women. Did she know about the woman was trapped, starved, and fed the flesh of her own infant?
Germany is negotiating with Iraqi authorities to get the schoolgirl, who turns 17 at the end of this month, back to Germany where she faces charges of belonging to and supporting a terrorist organization.
It is unclear exactly what role she performed for the group in Mosul, but if she fought and killed for the extremists she could face a long jail term.
One German magazine, citing Iraqi security sources, said she and the four German women she was found with in the rubble of Mosul last month worked with the ISIS ‘morals police’ responsible for women adhering to strict dress codes.
How could she NOT have known? She was to some degree, an accomplice. But her dad is convinced she’s truly sorry for what she’s done.
…Those who did not obey faced a whipping – or worse. Whether Linda Wenzel was involved in brutalising anyone is also unclear.
…Last month’ Linda’s father spoke for the first time of his joy at learning his daughter was alive in Iraq while Linda has told reporters she regrets having joined the terror group.
Speaking in her prison cell in Baghdad, Linda said: ‘I just want to get away from here. I want to get away from the war, from the many weapons, from the noise.I just want to go home to my family.’
Others are less sure.
Speaking anonymously, he said: ‘We found her with a gun in her hand next to her Chechen husband, who was then killed by Iraqi forces in a firefight. She said she had killed a number of our men in the battle.’
‘She was a Daesh sniper, but maybe her husband pressured her into it. She looked scared.’
The Telegraph said it is thought Linda and the fighter formed a relationship after meeting in a chat room, where he convinced her to join ISIS.

Iraqi MP Vian Dakhil backed up the claims, adding that she was found with explosives and was ‘ready to attack the advancing troops.’
It’s unclear whether Linda — now seventeen — will face trial in Iraq or be extradited to Germany where she may face just 10 years in prison.
Should they be lenient because she’s ‘just a kid’? Or should they throw the book at her?

Don’t let your daughter grow up to have a skull full of mush. Raise her to be strong enough not to fall for crap like this.
ClashDaily.com’s, Editor-In-Chief, Doug Giles how-to book:
In ‘Raising Righteous and Rowdy Girls’, Doug Giles reinforces the notion that little women don’t need to be pampered by their fathers to turn out right. And having met his beautiful daughters, I know his philosophy works. As a strong-willed woman who thinks her daddy is the greatest guy in the world, I can tell you this is a must-read for every man who hopes to earn the same title. —-S.E.
