PICTURED: Here’s The SHOCKING Toll Opioids Take On The Addict

It doesn’t seem to matter how much they are warned about ‘bad things’ that can happen… people are still taking drugs.

We don’t just mean the ‘harmless’ stuff like pot, either.

We’re talking about opioids. Sometimes it’s a matter of getting hooked on pain meds. Other times, it’s recreational. Either way, it’s become a big issue.

And for all the ‘awareness campaigns’ like these we spend money on, none of them seem to be helping:

We are still seeing tragic horror stories like these:

Before long, kids in their twenties are looking like they’re sickly 50 or 60 year olds. Middle aged users look like they’ve got one foot in the grave.

Clear-complected — even attractive — people looking like a haggard extra from a horror movie.

Broken.

Unkempt.

Road-weary.

Whatever relief the drugs had promised in the beginning has come at a terrible price.

And you can be sure of this…

not ONE of them thought this could happen to them.

But it did.
