Hey, Kimmel, Levin is calling you out as a fraud.
By the way, shouldn’t you have to formally register as a lobbyist now?
The Daily Beast did better reporting than the entire Alphabet Media. And Mark Levin blasted Kimmel over it.
When Clash editors called out Kimmel as an unfunny political hack, even WE underestimated just how much in the tank he was.
Levin quoted from the left-leaning website on his radio show:
Over the past week, opposition to the latest Republican effort to repeal and replace Obamacare has been driven by a late-night talk show host who had expressed little interest in health care policy prior to this year.Jimmy Kimmel’s nightly monologues decrying Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) and Bill Cassidy’s (R-LA) bill became must-see TV, as the ABC host systematically attacked both the specifics of the legislation and Cassidy himself.
Behind the scenes, the ABC star was getting an assist. Kimmel and his team were in touch with health care officials, charities and advocacy groups, multiple sources told The Daily Beast. He also was in touch with the office of Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y) who, according to a source familiar with their conversations, “provided technical guidance and info about the bill, as well as stats from various think tanks and experts on the effects of [Graham-Cassidy].”
The three episodes in which Kimmel tore apart both Cassidy—who had previously insisted that any health care bill pass a so-called “Jimmy Kimmel test”—and the bill’s specifics helped galvanize public and political opposition to the legislation. On Friday, that legislation appeared to have effectively died, at least for now, after Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) announced that he would not back the measure without fuller hearings and amendments. Kimmel quickly took to Twitter to personally thank McCain for potentially tanking the legislation. —DailyBeast
DB probably meant it as praise. But we just see him as yet another media flunkie carrying water for the Democrat Party. And Levin lit into him.
Jimmy Kimmel, you’re a deceitful SOB. You should’ve told the American people when you were espousing what you were espousing that you were getting talking points from Chuck Schumer,” Levin said. That’s exactly right. If Kimmel wants to be a mouthpiece for the Democratic party, OK, but be honest about it. Tell America when you’re attacking the Graham-Cassidy bill that you’re just spouting off political spin from Chuck Schumer.
About Kimmel’s threat to ‘pound’ Brian Kilmeade, Mark said he’d have to ‘come through me, you little weasel’.
And Levin, who knows this stuff as well as anybody, broke down why Kimmel hasn’t a hot clue what he is talking about on the issues of health care.
You might say Kimmel’s ‘Colluding’.
And in case you are more swayed by Kimmel’s kids’ emotional arguments for why we need universal healthcare, maybe we should ask him how well ‘universal health care’ worked out for little Charlie Gard.
WHICH country did HIS parents try to seek help from when doctors wrote his little kid off as ‘not worth saving’?
Tell us more about HEALTH CARE RIGHTS, Jimmy. Tell us all about your baby.
But while you do, maybe you could ask yourself why Trump, who ‘doesn’t care about kids or health care’ fought so hard to save little Charlie Gard.
Where was Kimmel’s voice when little Charlie Gard needed an advocate?
Nah, if he said that, it would hurt ‘the cause’. And when a Democrat has to choose between people and politics, the narrative must be protected.
