Trump mocks the FBI for their blame-shifting, and the Media (D) can’t understand sarcasm. Sad.
When the bombshell dropped that the FBI ‘can’t find’ 50K vital text messages between FBI agent Peter Strzok and his mistress that was a FBI lawyer, questions have been raised about the ability of the FBI to retain evidence.
After all, they couldn’t retrieve Hillary’s email.
The entire investigation into Hillary’s mishandling of classified information seemed — well, rigged.
And now they’ve lost critical evidence that could show bias against President Trump by key players before the investigation into alleged ‘collusion’ had even begun.
Trump tweeted Tuesday night: ‘Where are the 50,000 important text messages between FBI lovers Lisa Page and Peter Strzok? Blaming Samsung!’
The agency has claimed that it has had a problem retaining texts from Samsung 5 cell phones it had issued to agents and staff – among them Page, a senior lawyer who was briefly part of Robert Mueller’s special counsel team, and her lover Strzok, who was involved in both the Clinton and Mueller probes.
The FBI claimed that it could not find the texts because of ‘misconfiguration issues related to rollouts, provisioning, and software upgrades that conflicted with the FBI’s collection capabilities’.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions has ordered an investigation and will attempt to recover the text by other means. AG Sessions went on to say that, ‘If any wrongdoing were to be found to have caused this gap, appropriate legal disciplinary action measures will be taken.’
Texts between FBI agent Peter Strzok and FBI lawyer Lisa Page exchanged between December 14, 2016, and May 17, 2017, are among a broader batch of missing phone messages that the FBI’s system failed to store because of a software upgrade glitch on many Samsung 5 cellphones.
‘Software glitch’ my @$$… the emails are missing from a very critical period of time — from just after President Trump won the election, the Inauguration, the firing of Gen. Michael Flynn, the firing of former FBI Director James Comey, right up until the very day that Robert Mueller was named Special Counsel to investigate the Trump campaign’s alleged ‘collusion’ with Russia.
But hey, that’s just a wacky coincidence.
The White House called them evidence of potential illegality at a briefing on Tuesday, and said the president believes it is of ‘great cause for concern’. Trump earlier tweeted they were ‘one of the biggest stories in a long time’.
Republicans have said the texts, which referred to Trump as an ‘idiot’ and a ‘loathsome human,’ raise concerns the FBI is biased against Trump and may have given Hillary Clinton, his Democratic presidential rival, favorable treatment after deciding not to recommend criminal charges in connection with the investigation of her use of a private email system while she was secretary of state.
Gee, you think there could be bias there?
Republicans have said that the Strzok-Page texts referenced deleting texts, and the meeting of a ‘secret society’ — perhaps the ones implementing an ‘insurance policy’ in case of the unfathomable event of Queen Hillary not being crowned ruler of America.
Republican lawmakers are fuming.
‘Unreal. We’ve been asking for the remaining text messages between anti-Trump FBI agents (and former Mueller team members), Peter Strzok and Lisa Page. The FBI now says the texts are ‘missing,’ ‘ Rep. Mark Meadows, leader of a group of conservatives known as the House Freedom Caucus, tweeted. ‘If it wasn’t already clear we need a second special counsel, it’s abundantly clear now’.
Flabbergasted, Meadows told Fox, ‘They’re supposed to be out tracking terrorism and we can’t even find our own text messages?’

Oh, and by the way, the FBI declined to answer if other texts from similar devices were lost in the same time period.
Also, Samsung says that their phones aren’t at fault, and they’re willing to work with the investigation.
…the Justice Department admitted to lawmakers Friday that it had not preserved any texts that were sent between Dec. 14, 2016, and May 17 of last year. The FBI blamed technical issues, saying the Samsung 5 mobile phones it provided to employees “did not capture or store text messages due to misconfiguration issues related to rollouts, provisioning, and software upgrades that conflicted with the FBI’s collection capabilities.”
A spokesman for the phone company denied being at fault.
“We believe that Samsung devices are not the cause of this issue,” a Samsung spokesman told Fox News. “We will fully cooperate with any investigation.”

If you’re getting your news from the Media (D), however, this is all glossed over — if it’s covered at all.
This Russia probe has been nothing but a witch-hunt from the beginning.
Worse, it might just be an attempt to cover-up the rampant partisan corruption perpetrated by the Obama Administration that weaponized government against political enemies.
So much for that ‘scandal-free’ presidency, Barry.
There are a lot of theories floating around, like this particularly credible one from Dick Morris:
