Little Luis Gutierrez Walk Out Of Trump’s Speech Amidst Shouts Of ‘U.S.A’ – So We Put Him On Full Blast

Is it any surprise that Rep. Louis ‘Open Borders’ Gutierrez (D-IL) couldn’t stand the shout ‘U.S.A.’?

It’s no surprise to me.

He’s been a big advocate for illegal ‘immigrants’ that defy our immigration law and has set his agenda to help them ahead of the law-abiding American citizens. He feels so passionate about illegal people coming here (to vote Democrat) that he has staged protests and been arrested voicing his opposition to ICE enforcing immigration law.

Think about that for a second — a lawmaker is protesting the enforcement of the law.

I’m sure that Doug’s not surprised, either. People that aren’t Patriots weren’t keen on President Trump’s State of the Union speech. Watch as Doug gives you the 411 on that here:

Not only is Rep. Gutierrez not a fan of immigration law, he’s no fan of patriotic chants, either.

When the President spoke about the Capitol as ‘the monument of the American people’, that’s when Gutierrez decided to leave, amid chants of ‘U.S.A! U.S.A!’

Watch:

Gutierrez says that he didn’t do it on purpose, it was a ‘scheduling issue’ — he had to make it to Univision to speak against the President’s speech.

Democratic congressman Luis Gutierrez walked out of Donald Trump‘s State of the Union address when Republicans started chanting ‘USA, USA’.

The representative from Illinois was caught ducking out the chamber at the end of the president’s speech while others around him applauded.

Here is the full post-State of the Union statement from Rep. Gutierrez (emphasis added):

Even though I disagreed with almost everything he said, for Trump, the speech was clear and well-delivered.  Whoever translated it for him from Russian did a good job.

I am still hopeful, but I don’t see this Congress and this President coming to an agreement that prevents the deportation of the Dreamers.  The White House agenda is to gut legal immigration in exchange for allowing some of the Dreamers to live here.  For those of us who support legal immigration, and that’s most Democrats and many Republicans, it won’t fly.  And the Dreamers themselves have said they do not want legal status if it comes at the expense of others who will suffer more as part of the bargain.  The speech did nothing to bring the pro- and anti-immigrant sides closer together.

I was hoping for some sort of apology on Puerto Rico, but I heard nothing.  Puerto Rico is a metaphor for how this President sees all Latinos and people of color: he does not see us as his equals and he does not see us as fellow human beings.  If you look at how the President has treated Puerto Rico, you have to conclude that he just doesn’t care and probably thinks of Puerto Rico as just another shithole country.

I was born in 1953 in the U.S. when separate but equal was the law of the land.  I am proud of the progress the United States has made as a nation on issues of race, gender, sexual orientation, disabilities, and many other areas where we have advanced.  I was hoping to get through my life without having to witness an outwardly, explicitly racist American President, but my luck ran out.

Puerto Rico was a mess way before it was hit by Hurricane Maria due to corruption, mismanagement, incompetence, and ignorance. At least, that’s what the Hill reports. And let’s face it, the Mayor of San Juan, Carmen Cruz, is negligent, a liar, a blatant partisan, and wants to make the President look like a horrible racist. So, enough about the plight of Puerto Rico.

Speaking of the plight of the vulnerable…

When will Rep. Gutierrez publicly raise awareness regarding the shockingly high percentage (80%) of girls and women that cross the border illegally are raped on their journey?

How about anyone on the Democrat side of the aisle?

No takers?

I guess there will never be a #MeToo moment for illegal aliens.

Perhaps it’s better to not have women and girls risk the likelihood of being raped while attempting to cross the border illegally.

Any comment, Rep. Gutierrez?

No?

Didn’t think so.
