Well, this development certainly looks like the beginning of the end of the despotic regime in Iran.
The Guardian is reporting that Iran is banning the teaching of English in elementary schools for fear of ‘cultural invasion’.
Gee, why would they be worried about that?
The leftists in our midst aren’t concerned about it happening here… heck, ‘cultural invasion’ isn’t even a thing, to them, right?
According to the progressives, there’s nothing special about Western culture. As a matter of fact, there are definite problems with it. We should all live and let live and maybe embrace the hijab to show our ‘tolerance’.
It’s not that way in Iran, though.
Iran has banned the teaching of English in primary schools, a senior education official has said, after Islamic leaders warned that early learning of the language opened the way to a western “cultural invasion”.
“Teaching English in government and non-government primary schools in the official curriculum is against laws and regulations,” Mehdi Navid-Adham, head of the state-run high education council, told state television.
“The assumption is that in primary education the groundwork for the Iranian culture of the students is laid,” he said.
When you educate young children, you’re laying a foundation for the culture of the students.
Gee, maybe that’s why so many parents are upset about the progressive indoctrination of young kids.
That isn’t just in school, but can take the form of pre-school channels on the YouTube Kids app like this one:
Or the overt sexual education of kids:
And the recent tossing of Biology out the window:
Here in the West, conservatives are concerned that all of these feel-good, ‘inclusive’ changes might do more harm than good.
Meanwhile, in Iran, they don’t want Westernization to bring them out of the 1400s.
Iran’s Islamic leaders have often warned about the dangers of a “cultural invasion”, and the supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, voiced outrage in 2016 over the “teaching of the English language spreading to nursery schools”.
Khamenei, who has the final say in all state matters, said in a speech to teachers: “That does not mean opposition to learning a foreign language, but [this is the] promotion of a foreign culture in the country and among children, young adults and youths.”

The mullahs are more concerned with keeping their power over the people. When the protests began, it was initially because of economic concerns, but it wasn’t limited to that.
Strangely, Western feminists were silent about this.
The protests have grown and the Iranian government has shut down social media and internet access.
Maybe banning learning the English language in schools will shake up the wussified masses in the Media (D) enough to report on the protests in Iran properly.

What Jim Acosta, Rachel Maddow and the Rest of The Media (D) STILL haven’t figured out yet is why we call them ‘Fake News’.
Let’s spell it out for them. In a shirt.
Because you know they won’t be able to figure it out on their own.
There’s a ladies’ version…
And a men’s version…
The problem isn’t just the lies they tell…
It’s the truth they DON’T tell…
And the opinions laced right through them.
And the best part? This shirt is made in the USA, printed in the USA, on an American-Made t-shirt press!
