Hope For Campus Freedom: Former ACLU Pres Speaks Up Against Silencing Conservative Voices

It isn’t often the Right finds common cause with ANYONE from the ACLU, but at least we agree with this.

It isn’t without reason that ACLU has picked up the nickname ‘Anti-Christian Lawyers’ Union’. They have become a passionately partisan political outfit, often criticized for putting agendas ahead of the principles they were once known for.

But in this new political climate where the silencing of politically incorrect speech is commonplace, a former ACLU President has a message the left needs to hear.

Nadine Strossen, while promoting a book on the same idea, and Tucker Carlson — despite their ideological differences — found themselves in complete agreement about the right response to speech a person might consider ‘hateful’.

The right response is MORE speech, not less.

Isn’t it nice to see that someone who tilts left still believes in the First Amendment?

Now how do we get people on campus (or the Big Three Social media) to buy into this thinking?

It sure is better than bruning down Berkley or Calling for boycotts against Kanye.

And what about the Democrat activist group Media Matters who has actually published a ’49 page war plan’ for suppressing and destroying any avenues the Right might use to express our first amendment rights.

Will the Left disavow them, and their political guerrilla tactics, too?

Or will patriots have to roll up their sleeves and get to work?

Rules For Radical Christians is not a survival devotional designed to help the young Christian adult limp through life. Rather, it is a road-tested, dominion blueprint that will equip the young adult with leadership skills and sufficient motivation to rise to a place of influence in an overtly non-Christian culture. Rules For Radical Christians gives the reader the keys to become strategically equipped to move into an anti-theistic environment and effectively influence it for the glory of God.

What makes America so different from other nations? Other nations are built around regimes or systems. But America was built from on ideas. From a blank slate.

Built on ideas that are DANGEROUS to tyrants.

That we have God-Given Rights, like Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

Dangerous ideas. Like this one: the people, when threatened, have a God-Given right to stand up in defiance of any government that dares threaten any of those rights.

There’s a men’s version

And a women’s version, too

Because in America, the bros AND the ladies BOTH have a rich history of badass rowdiness.
