Take that all of you kneeling Kaepernick clones!
The Philly Eagles didn’t just win the Superbowl — they were one of just 7 teams to not have players take a kee during the season. Rather remarkable when the protest was pervasive in the league and spreading to high schools, middle schools, and even a pee-wee league.
But not the Philadelphia Eagles.
Not a single Eagles player sat or knelt during the national anthem, one of just seven teams with perfect non-kneeling records, in a season that saw 684 such incidents, according to a study released Thursday by Sports Pundit.
I’m not an Eagles fan, but… let’s just say that I’m reconsidering my position.
Even though the Eagles had no kneelers, Philly safety Malcolm Jenkins was among the league’s most visible players working on protest-related issues with team owners.
He co-founded the Players Coalition, which reportedly brokered an $89 million agreement in principle with the NFL to fund related causes, and was featured on NFL Network last week discussing issues with a local police chief as part of the NFL’s newly launched Let’s Listen Together initiative.
“I think that is definitely a responsibility of leaders. If we’re going to criticize officers when they do it wrong, we need to be able to acknowledge when they’re doing it the right way,” Mr. Jenkins said during the show.

Ok, fair enough.
If we can all agree that every police force in the entire country isn’t a hotbed of systemic racism, then we can actually deal with specific instances of racism when it does occur.
Do you love it that the Eagles Superbowl win is going to be driving the ‘Take A Knee’ clowns nuts for the next year?
Perhaps they can take some time in the off-season to consider their options for 2018/19.
Here’s a book they should read in their downtime:
by Doug Giles
Doug Giles, best-selling author of Raising Righteous And Rowdy Girls and Editor-In-Chief of the mega-blog, ClashDaily.com, has just penned a book he guarantees will kick hipster males into the rarefied air of masculinity. That is, if the man-child will put down his frappuccino; shut the hell up and listen and obey everything he instructs them to do in his timely and tornadic tome. A shirt that aptly describes the NFL — No Fans Left.
NFL’s TV ratings are plummeting as more players refuse to stand for the national anthem. It’s hard to believe that a nation that has given these players the opportunity to achieve so much is so easily disrespected. Even worse, consider the men and women who have laid down their lives so that these athletes could live in a relatively safe country and enjoy their fame and fortune.
Hard-working, patriotic Americans don’t want to watch a bunch of whiners play football. They want to watch winners.
And the best part? This shirt is made in the USA, printed in the USA, on an American-Made t-shirt press!
