If you’re upset when things don’t go your way, you need to grow up. RIGHT NOW.
Sometimes you’ve got to suck it up, Buttercup, and just push on through.
Life ain’t gonna be easy.
And that is a Biblical promise from Jesus Himself.
Don’t believe me?
I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.
Did you overcome the world on your own?
But Jesus did.
You are not exempt from the hard times.
Jesus Himself had hard times and pushed through.
And it’s a darn good thing that He did.
You can learn to be an Overcomer, too.
In the latest Warriors & Wildmen podcast, Doug Giles and Rich Witmer kick over the trope that life is always going to be sunshine and lollipops when you’re a Christian.
Don’t whine when things don’t go your way.
Don’t get discouraged when things look like they’re going off the rails.
Don’t quit when things get hard.
Remember Who It Is that’s got your back.
How do you know if you’re a Quitter or an Overcomer?
Ask yourself these questions and be really honest with yourself:
1. Do you complain often?
2. Do you avoid association with those who are greater than you?
3. Do you often feel self-pity?
Remember those answers.
