How many times have we heard this story play out?
‘Routine’ traffic stop with a cop shot dead.
Wonder what Mr ‘Pig-socks’ Kaepernick would say about this guy.
A cop has been murdered. Does that make him a villain or a hero in Colin’s world?
Anyway. While the rest of the country was counting their blessings, one cold-blooded punk decided to rob a family of a husband and father.
‘Routine’ traffic stop? There was nothing routine about it.
Routine traffic stops end in an arrest, or a warning, or a ticket. Routine traffic stops end with a cop telling you your tail light is broken.
This was NOT a routine traffic stop. The thug has forever tainted Thanksgiving for one family, and the cop, 41, leaves behind a wife and three kids.
An east Texas man is facing capital murder charges in the shooting death of a state trooper along I-45 on Thanksgiving Day.
Dabrett Black, 32, of Lindale was tracked down in a rural area of Waller County several hours after he allegedly gunned down Trooper Damon Allen during a traffic stop near Fairfield in Freestone County.
…Troopers say Black fired several shots at Trooper Allen during the traffic stop, but a motive wasn’t clear.
"Trooper Allen's dedication to duty, and his bravery and selfless sacrifice on this Thanksgiving Day, will never be forgotten."

The man deserved a better fate. So did his wife and family.
The next time you hear someone trying to claim that cops are worthless and deliberately hurt people..? Tell them the Damon Allen’s story.

The men and women in law enforcement that serve and protect us are commendable, but the response time means that they don’t get there when the bullets are flying.
Are you willing to wait 20 minutes for the police to show up?
It’s an issue that needs to be discussed within our churches and addressed by our church leaders.
We need some righteous badassery in the church to protect ourselves, our loved ones, and our brothers and sisters in Christ from the preventable evil in this world.
We need to Obey Jesus.
Including what he said in Luke 22:36.
He [Jesus] said to them, “But now let the one who has a moneybag take it, and likewise a knapsack. And let the one who has no sword sell his cloak and buy one.
