With friends like this, it’s no wonder Hillary lost.
The overtly political and outspoken leftist, George Clooney, opened up in an interview about how badly Hillary’s campaign sucked.
Clooney was a big fan of Hillary and even hosted a fundraiser for her 2016 Presidential run.
Now he’s saying that he believes that she wasn’t fit for the White House, despite being more qualified than her husband when he was elected.
Check out what he said to the Daily Beast:
But being qualified for the job does not necessarily mean you’re the right person to be president. Here’s what I mean. She was more qualified than even her husband was when he was elected president, but she’s not as good at communicating things. That’s simply true. When she got up and gave a speech, it didn’t soar.
He said that he went through with the fundraiser because the primaries were over and it was time to back a candidate, and he still feels she was the right one to side with.
Even if she is bad at communicating.
And to twist the knife a little more, he said she ‘wasn’t good at this’ — and lots of his liberal friends noticed.
It was frustrating because I never saw her elevate her game. I never saw it. And I had a lot of liberal friends who were like, “She’s not good at this.” And I see that, and I understand it. I also think, though, that if it was a guy it wouldn’t have been so polarizing. I think the fact that she’s a woman made it a much harder uphill battle.
Of course, he also had to play the woman card, though.
It wouldn’t have happened if she was a man.
Eh, maybe not.
New York University conducted an experiment to see if reversing the genders of the presidential candidates and was horrified to learn that if Hillary was a man she’d be even more unlikable. And the woman that played Hillary? She was even more likable.
Some members of the audience were traumatized.
Yeah, maybe that ‘woman card’ needs to be removed from the deck.
I think that she wasn’t particularly good at articulating the things that she wanted to do, and unfortunately we live at a time right now where articulating what you want to do is more potent in the electorate than the other way around, obviously, when Trump only said he was going to “Make America Great Again.” Don’t you think the next Democrat who runs should just run with a blue hat that says, “Make America Great Again?”

Well, he hasn’t gone that far in condemning Hillary yet — after all, he’s still a Hollywood elite.
