Should we ask General Flynn’s opinion on the matter? After all, justice is supposed to be blind, right?
A criminal referral against (former) FBI deputy director McCabe has been made.
The reason for that referral is the claim that he has lied to Federal Investigators… and that he also ‘lacked candor’.
Should those who enforce the law be held to a lower moral standard than those they enforce it against?
General Flynn, driven to the brink of bankruptcy through his lawyer fees, pled guilty to charges of lying to the FBI. Even Comey probably found that surprising, considering what he said about Flynn’s charges:
According to two sources familiar with the meetings, Comey told lawmakers that the FBI agents who interviewed Flynn did not believe that Flynn had lied to them, or that any inaccuracies in his answers were intentional. As a result, some of those in attendance came away with the impression that Flynn would not be charged with a crime pertaining to the Jan. 24 interview.
Nine months later, with Comey gone and special counsel Robert Mueller in charge of the Trump-Russia investigation, Flynn pleaded guilty to one count of making false statements to the FBI in that Jan. 24 questioning — Washington Examiner
A lie to the Feds can destroy your life.
What about when you not only are the Feds, but you’re part of the tippy-top echelon of the very same FEDS who wield that sort of authority over the lives of private citizens?
Should it matter at all when THEY lie? What about when they ‘lack candor’?
That was, after all, the reason McCabe was fired.
Lies to the Feds can land you in prison for up to 5 years, can’t they?
McCabe is accused of authorizing a leak to a Wall Street Journal reporter about the FBI’s Clinton email investigation.
Although as the bureau’s No. 2 he is authorized to put out information, the IG found the leak was done to help burnish McCabe’s image.
Former FBI director James Comey, who is on a book tour, told ABC’s ‘The View’ it was important the public have confidence in the FBI.
‘It’s not okay. The McCabe case illustrates what an organization committed to the truth looks like,’ Comey said on the show. ‘I ordered that investigation,’ he added.
Any private citizen would find themselves in the crowbar hotel.
Even a decorated General faced bankruptcy and the loss of his home.
The Left was outraged that his firing (firing ‘with cause’, mind you) might cost him a smaller pension. They even got together and crowdfunded ‘help’ for him.
Now he’s got crowdfunding for his legal defense costs.
Because leftist darlings get special treatment that the rest of us don’t.
Isn’t it good to see their profound ‘commitment’ to the ‘underprivileged’?
Does your grandpa go off on paltry politicians, whether they be Democrats or Republicans? Does he get misty eyed when he talks about God and Country and America’s future? And have you ever heard him scream, ‘Awww … Hell no!’ when Rosie O’Donnell starts yapping on television? If you answered yes to one, or all of the above, then your gramps will love Doug Giles’ latest book, My Grandpa Is A Patriotic Badass.
Don’t be fooled by the title — this ain’t just for Grandpa.
The Snowflake Generation — and the rest of America — needs a good ol’ dose of ‘Grandpa wisdom’.
Especially if that Grandpa is Doug Giles.
You’ll love My Grandpa Is A Patriotic Badass just as much as Grandpa will.
Ladies, tell everyone that you don’t like the emasculated, metro-sexual ‘feminists’ — you’d rather have a President with balls:
And gents, let everyone know that you want your President to be just as much of a man as you are:
Donald J. Trump is our 45th President. Why? Because Americans from all races and classes are sick of whining Republicans and corrupt Democrats. Finally, we have a President who isn’t afraid to say what he thinks even if it is not popular with the press. Trump is not a typical politician. Trump can’t be bought. He will back up what he says with action, no matter the cost. Finally. A president with balls!
