Why were statements that were supposedly so ‘divisive’ resonating with SO MANY Americans?
Could the Media (D) have been LYING to us about Trump’s statements being divisive?
Or did they just assume the whole nation felt the same way they do? (Which might explain their Jayvee reporting and frequent retractions.)
Yet again, polls are undercutting the media claims.
This time, for example, a surprising number of Americans agree with Trump’s point. And NONE of it was very good news for the NFL.
The poll was conducted by Remington Research on September 25, 2017.
Q: How many Americans are watching LESS football this year than previous years? A: MOST. (51%)
And 69% of respondents blame the politicization of football. And 80% of respondents want LESS politics in sports.
Seriously? We needed a poll to figure that out?
Ok, what else did we learn?
Q7: Last week, Donald Trump said NFL players should stand and be respectful during the national anthem. Do you think NFL players should stand and be respectful during the national anthem?
It wasn’t even CLOSE!
Neither was these ones:
Q8: On Sunday, a number of NFL players knelt during the national anthem in protest of Donald Trump’s statements, including players from your favorite team. Does this make you more likely or less likely to watch your favorite team’s games in the future?
More likely: 30%
Less likely: 50%
No difference: 20%
Q9: Do you support protesting during the national anthem at the beginning of NFL games, or is there a more appropriate place for players to protest?
There is a more appropriate place to protest: 60%
But one OTHER tidbit will drive the NFL, and the pearl-clutching Left absolutely crazy.
You know Goodell has a low ‘favorability’ rating, right?
Roger Goodell’s favorability/unfavorability/don’t know rating ratios are: 12% /36% /52%.
The President’s favorability/unfavorability/don’t know ratios are: 46% /47% /7%.
Somewhere in the midst of this, drama, Trump (at least for this poll) is actually breaking even on favorability polls.
Let the haters hate.
