Authorities Hassle Kyle Kashuv For Going To A Gun Range – Kyle Fires Back

Oh the horror! He went to a gun range with his dad!

Kyle Kashuv, the 17-year old Marjory Stoneman Douglas survivor, is being targetted for his ‘wrongthink’.

The high school Junior has been a staunch defender of the Second Amendment despite never having touched a gun in his life. That is, he hadn’t touched a gun until last Friday.

Kashuv tweeted out a series of images and video of his first visit to a gun range.

He went with his father and had an instructor teach him how to shoot with an AR-15.

It wasn’t a surprise that some of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas students and parents piled on and criticized Kashuv for posing with an AR-15.

He was probably expecting that.

But it didn’t end there.

Kyle was hauled out of class on Monday and told to speak to the school’s Resource Officer.

In a statement to The Daily Wire, Kashuv said he was called out of class at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and told to see the security resource officer whom he identified as “Mr. Greenleaf.” Multiple reportsfrom around the time of the Feb. 14 shooting identify Kelvin Greenleaf as a “civilian security monitor” or a “security specialist” at the school.

According to Kashuv, a second officer joined Greenleaf and both men began “questioning me intensely.”

“First, they began berating my tweet, although neither of them had read it; then they began aggressively asking questions about who I went to the range with, whose gun we used, about my father, etc. They were incredibly condescending and rude,” Kashuv said.

At that point, Kashuv claims, a Broward County sheriff’s officer joined them, “and began asking me the same questions again.” Kashuv said the officers declined to let him record the interview, but told him he hadn’t done anything wrong.

“I asked why I was there,” Kashuv said. “One said, ‘Don’t get snappy with me, do you not remember what happened here a few months ago?’“ The teen also said that officers referred to him as “the pro-Second Amendment kid.”

And he was attacked on Twitter again.

Kashuv has a point.

Where was this diligence in following up on the shooter that seemingly everyone suspected of committing such an atrocity?

Are we to take it as just coincidence that the same law enforcement agency that Kyle embarrased on the national stage with the unflattering nickname ‘the Cowards of Broward’ were merely taking an interest in following up on a plausible threat against the safety and security of the school?

Did they have trouble finding @kylekashuv’s blue-check-marked twitter feed where they could have seen for themselves that he was not only following the law, but encouraging others to do the same?

No, they didn’t look into that, did they?

Three grown men gathered around a High School junior. Obviously, they wanted to make the ‘kid’ sweat.

Since there was no crime either reported or implied, it would be easy to assume their obnoxious behavior toward him, (and calling him out of class no less)  stemmed from something more personal.

And if they feel they need to throw their professional weight around against a law-abiding high school junior to make up for their department’s Legendary Cowardice in the face of danger, they’ve got bigger issues than even we first thought.

Due diligence — they still have not mentioned exactly what ‘threat’ was being investigated with the photos of a young man, his father, and a safety instructor.

Other than any obvious threats that Kyle personally represents to the national narrative.
